This course is designed in an evidence-based curriculum that promotes a global understanding of this field by international experts in this field.
This course includes the management of current indications on the use and management of intragastric balloons, the use of gastric remodeling therapies, and endoscopic and metabolic therapies of the small intestine. Likewise, special emphasis is placed on endoscopic gastric sleeve, as well as practical improvements for its development.
Bariatric endoscopy cannot be managed without the management of complications of bariatric surgery, so participants of this course will have access to a description of the best endoscopic practices in the management of these types of complications.
Upon completion of this course, participants can apply technical, clinical, and cognitive knowledge to increase the care of patients suffering from metabolic diseases and who are going through the obesity pandemic, especially from the field of bariatric and metabolic endoscopy.
